Weaknecht Announces Mid-Atlantic Air Museum to Receive PHMC Funds

HARRISBURG – State Rep. Eric Weaknecht (R-Berks) today announced the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) has awarded $20,000 to the Mid Atlantic Air Museum and $20,000 to the Historical Society of Berks County - Berks History Center. This funding has been awarded through PHMC’s Cultural and Historical Grant Program. The program provides general operating support to Pennsylvania museums and historical societies not directly supported by other state programs.

“I’m happy to see the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum receive this crucial funding. This investment will help ensure the museum can continue preserving our aviation history and sharing its legacy with future generations,” Weaknecht said.

Grants were awarded using a formula based on a percentage of each organization’s annual operating budget.
